Concordia Children’s Services

Concordia Children’s Services is a non-government organization that takes care of abandoned babies and orphaned children, with the help of volunteers.  Many of the kids end up being adopted, but some of them are growing up there.  They need medicines, vitamins, clothes, milk, and toiletries.

You may go there and schedule activities with the older children, and also just visit the babies and toddlers and play with them.  They need to know that people care about them – aside from the material needs, they need to be held and hugged. An officemate celebrated Valentine’s Day there with her husband, and invited us to join them. We went there and played with the toddlers, while the older children had an activity outside with other visitors. The babies and toddlers were adorable! Three of them were matched already with adoptive parents, and were scheduled to leave the country the week after we visited.

Their contact details are:
Address: 4443 Old Sta. Mesa St. Sampaloc, Metro Manila, Philippines
Telephone No: 713-3462
Executive Director: Ms. Elizabeth Caces
